Micro-Dermabrasion - How Does it Work?

Micro-dermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation that removes the top layer of dead skin cells from the face, chest, hands, or stretch marks.

Your AOI laserhere technician will choose either a diamond head or a crystal head for the handheld device for you based on your skin type and skin issues.

The diamond head is a metal head impregnated with diamond crystals that is reused after being sterilized that gently abrades the face while the vacuum apparatus removes the abraded skin cells.

The crystal head actually blows fine micro-crystals of aluminum dioxide across the skin that abrade away the top layer of dead skin cells which the vacuum apparatus then removes.

Micro-dermabrasion is a painless procedure, but can sometimes be a little uncomfortable around the sensitive parts of the mouth and nose.
